Brief:

In just one week, our team of 4 identified a common challenge among School of Code students and developed a practical app-based solution.

Problem Statement: Students need a centralized platform to access past learning resources and tech links easily.

Proposed solution: Introducing our resource website—an efficient hub where students can effortlessly find and filter previous resources and links by topic.

App features:

  1. Tech Resource Listing: Access a list of tech resources on the landing page.
  2. Clickable Image Links: Easily navigate through the resources by clicking on image links.
  3. Filter by Topic: Utilize a convenient dropdown menu to filter resources based on specific topics
  4. Search Results Bar: Get instant feedback on the number of results found in your search.

What I learned:

  • Emphasized the importance of keeping our MVP simple.
  • Used git branching and resolved merge conflicts.
  • As a team, we learned how to use MaterialUI components.
  • Time management and delagation strategies, using trello for tickets.
